Software Engineer at Chainstack, Remote (Global)

We are looking for a Golang software engineer to build and maintain high-performance indexing solutions for Solana blockchain data. You’ll contribute to our infrastructure and services, optimize performance, and implement mechanisms that ensure system stability and scalability.

All Chainstack roles are fully remote. To create the best experience for your future colleagues, this role requires that you be based within Western, Central, or Eastern EU time zones.

• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform/Terragrunt
• Redis, MongoDB, InfluxDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Jetstream, Kafka, Telegraf, S3-compatible storage
• GitHub and CircleCI
• Victoria Metrics, Grafana

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, and deploy an in-house indexing solution for Solana blockchain data.
• Build and optimize services to improve performance of Solana blockchain APIs.
• Design and implement high-performance data pipelines.
• Debug and optimize blockchain indexing and infrastructure components.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms for indexing services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to ensure efficient service operation.

Requirements

• Strong Go programming skills.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques.
• Strong system design and architectural thinking.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust programming.
• Familiarity with Solana blockchain.
• Contributions to open source blockchain projects.
• Experience with big data systems.
• Leadership mindset and ability to drive technical initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Helm and Terraform.
