Accountant/Admin Officer
About the job
We are a boutique law firm looking for an Accountant/Admin Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative work. The Accountant/Admin Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing administrative support to our team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records with the extensive ability to utilise Microsoft Excel.
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and collecting payments.
- Prepare and submit financial reports and file VAT.
- Monitor and manage the firm’s budget, expenses, and cash flow.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and audits
- Provide administrative support to the team and office, including answering phones, filing documents, and managing correspondence.
- Raising required invoices.
- Responsible for office procurement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Partner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and administrative work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in the use of Zoho Invoice is an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
