About the job

We are a boutique law firm looking for an Accountant/Admin Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative work. The Accountant/Admin Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing administrative support to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records with the extensive ability to utilise Microsoft Excel.
  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and collecting payments.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports and file VAT.
  • Monitor and manage the firm’s budget, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and audits
  • Provide administrative support to the team and office, including answering phones, filing documents, and managing correspondence.
  • Raising required invoices.
  • Responsible for office procurement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Partner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and administrative work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in the use of Zoho Invoice is an advantage.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
