Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Figours. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technology solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional specifications to support the development and enhancement of our financial technology products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Develop clear and concise functional specifications and wireframes for software development.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to mitigate potential issues.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to system functionalities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the financial technology sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial technology industry or a similar domain.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills to effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and business process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring quality assurance.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of financial systems, payment processing, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
