Business Development Executive
Purpose of the Role
Our client in the hospitality industry located in GRA Ikeja seeks to recruit an experienced Business Development Executive, your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding the company’s customer base. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. This position requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
New Business Development:
·        Identify and prospect potential clients and markets to generate new business opportunities.
·        Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
·        Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, actively seeking new leads and converting them into customers.
·        Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to win new business.
·        Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.
Client Relationship Management:
·        Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and challenges.
·        Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and solutions to help clients achieve their objectives.
·        Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and business reviews to maintain client engagement and satisfaction.
·        Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to address client requirements effectively.
Market Expansion:
·        Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, both domestic and international, for business growth.
·        Develop market entry strategies and execute plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
·        Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and promote the company’s offerings.
·        Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Qualification:
·        Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
·        Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar sales role.
·        Deep understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
·        Knowledge of the industry sector or market being targeted.
·        Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
