Business Development Lead

A top brand is looking to hire a Business Development Lead to join their fast-growing climate-tech start-up.

As the Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development initiatives that align with the company’s goals and values.

Responsibilities
• Identify new business opportunities and develop actionable plans to pursue them
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive revenue growth
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends, and use that information to inform business development initiatives
• Work closely with product teams to identify new product development opportunities that align with market needs and drive revenue growth
• Develop and negotiate partnership agreements that support business objectives
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth
• Analyze data and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives and identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes, and use that knowledge to inform business development strategy

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnership or related field
• Strong knowledge of business development principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data and performance metrics to drive revenue growth
• Experience in the recycling or sustainability industry is a prerequisite
