Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development and execution of our overall technology strategy, aligning it with our business objectives.
• Build and manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Take ownership of the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Drive the development and implementation of scalable and robust technology solutions, leveraging AWS, Node.js or C#, and SQL.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of our technology infrastructure, systems, and applications.
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to the executive team, contributing to the overall company strategy and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with expertise in AWS, Node.js (Typescript) or C#, and SQL.
• Leadership skills with the ability to build and manage an engineering team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a track record of driving growth through technology.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Prior experience in a leadership role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with early-stage startups is highly valued.
• Must be a university or polytechnic graduate
