Overview:
Connections in Mind is a pioneering education community interest company (CIC) offering an evidence-based coaching programme to support children and adults with organisational, learning and emotional challenges. Our programmes are delivered by freelance coaches with backgrounds in psychology, education and coaching, and we pride ourselves on offering a bespoke support service to our clients. This is enhanced by a unique supervision and management programme that ensures excellent and consistent standards of coaching across the organisation.
CiM is on a mission to expand the understanding and acknowledgement of executive function challenges, and aim to equip individuals, schools, and organisations with the necessary skills to address these challenges with lifelong strategies.
The role:
We are looking for a professional and personable, results orientated Coach Supervisor to deliver Supervision and CPD training to the affiliate coaches in our community. You will work alongside the supervision team to ensure best practice and sustainable professional development for our coaches. . Your time will predominantly be taken up by supervising coaches 1:1, you will also work with our head of training and professional development to identify training needs and develop our CPD programme. This role presents an excellent opportunity to grow within a friendly and supportive remote team environment, in a trailblazing field.
Who are you?
We imagine you are an experienced, skilled, psychologist or coach with supervision experience, particularly supervision of coaches who assist clients with executive function challenges and a range of neurodiverse conditions (e.g. ADHD, ADD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia). You love people and helping them grow. You are fascinated by the power of the human brain and dedicated to helping people understand and harness the power of their own brains and innate potential. You are familiar with executive function terminology, various neurodiverse conditions, mental health challenges and safeguarding processes, and related strategies to improve coaches’ abilities to assist clients. You are looking for a part time role with the opportunity for more hours as the organisation grows. You love working with technology to help you work more efficiently and give you insights into trends within your work. You are self-motivated and get excited about collaborating with a small but passionate team who strive to make the world a better place. You are process orientated, have a strong attention to detail and enjoy identifying and solving problems in your work.
Responsibilities:
Delivery of supervision and CPD training in collaboration with the supervision team Delivery of 1:1 supervision for one hour a month per coach (approx 5 hours a week)
Maintaining company records using an innovative online portal
Building a relationship of trust with the coaches
Co-development of coaching and CPD resources
Working towards training new coaches with a director
Compile client-facing coach reports
Liaising with senior management
Co-development of new programmes and services
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent qualification (preferably in psychology or counselling)
Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
Proven work experience in Psychology or Coaching field
Understanding of executive function terminology and strategies
Understanding of various neurodiverse conditions (e.g. ADHD, ADD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia)
At least 2 years’ experience working as a coach supervisor or similar role
In-depth understanding of mental health and safeguarding practices in the UK
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent IT skills (databases, Google docs, online video conferencing)
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organisation
Highly organised and time efficient
Experience working with high net-worth clients an advantage but not essential
Belief in the aims of Connections in Mind and an interest in the problem we are trying to solve

Here’s what we offer you:
It’s important for us that we are on the same page in terms of vision for our culture and company. While this is initially a freelance role, Connections in Mind aims to expand this role into a full-time position within the next 12-18 months. Our ethos is to create a collaborative and peer-oriented supervision structure, whereby each supervisor is responsible for their group of coaches, and collective coaching knowledge and skills are shared.

Working hours:
10 core hours per week, dedicated to supervision sessions, meetings, and administration
5 hours per week flexible (days and hours are negotiable to meet the needs of the role)
Possibility for hours to expand in the next couple years as the organisation grows
6-month contract to start
NB: Our freelance coaches work varying hours and you may be required to conduct supervision during unsociable hours such as the evenings or weekends.
Rates:
£30 – £35 per hour (depending on experience)
As a community interest company, we acknowledge that this is not the going rate for supervision, however, we will review this rate annually.
