The Collections Associate (Ekiti) will be responsible for invoices and credit collections activities. S/he will work collaboratively with management to develop recommendations, identifying improvement opportunities in speed, quality and cost effectiveness to ensure timely payment and resolution of issues preventing payment from all partners.


  • Manage the collection of outstanding cash invoices and credit invoices to minimize profit loss. Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.

  • Coordinate collections activities across all relevant income streams. Ensure service and performance levels agreed between Helium Health and the partners are met.

  • Run reports and analyze data pertaining and share with leadership as needed.

  • Support development of automated processes to enable efficient collections operations, by providing timely feedback to stakeholders with documented issues concerns, assisting with any needed development to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Work proactively with varied stakeholders, both internal and external, to continuously identify and implement improvements to the collection processes.

  • Assist in the data gathering to assist leadership in evaluating any new requests from third party organizations that wish to execute new or amended agreements involving changes to Revenue Sharing, Networking or Sub-Transfer Agency agreements.

  • Monitor the completion of any approved agreements including review from legal, sending, tracking and overseeing the execution of the agreements. Communicates agreement status to various levels of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support integration and training of other team members by sharing knowledge where appropriate, regarding documentation, processes, applications, reports, and tools.

  • Demonstrate service excellence.

  • Any other related duties as required.


  • 3 – 6 years’ experience in billing / collections in the financial services sector.

  • Proven analytical skills and problem resolution skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, related process domain expertise and experience, supervisory skills

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels within Helium Health and donor, sponsors and partners organizations

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

  • First Degree or its equivalent and an additional professional qualification.

  • Interested candidates should preferably reside in Ekiti
