Reporting to the Sr. Content Manager, the Content Marketing Manager will write short & long-form copy and is capable of pitching good ideas and punching out clean, compelling copy that contributes to our broader goals as a Growth Team. They will partner closely with the broader Growth Team, as well as Marketing, Product, and Sales to create compelling messaging and collateral that helps us in every stage of the funnel: from finding new users to helping sales close leads and nurturing existing users.

What you’ll do:

    • Write. Nearly every part of this role will entail writing so it’s important you really enjoy it!
    • Write sales and marketing collateral (think one-pagers and leave-behinds)
    • Conduct case study interviews and write up interesting use cases of our product
    • Analyze the performance of your work and apply a data-driven approach to your next projects
    • Help shape general content strategy for the Content and Growth teams
    • Past that, the Content Team is responsible for sales collateral, case studies, email copy, newsletters, SEO performance, the marketing website, white papers, blog, press—almost every piece of written content outside our docs. You won’t be responsible for all of that, but you’ll help with much of it.

What we’re looking for:

    • 2+ years experience writing for web, preferably in tech, preferably B2B SaaS
    • A gift for making complex concepts easier to understand
    • Familiarity with common CMS software like WordPress, Iterable, Hubspot, Webflow, etc.
    • Enthusiasm for experimentation. We want people who come up with their own ideas and are brave enough to try them.
    • A data-driven approach to content. We want to double down on experiments that work and move away from what don’t. You don’t need to be able to set up your own dashboards or data pipeline, but you should be able to read and react to data and plan accordingly.
