Corporate Communications and Content Coordinator
About the job
The Corporate Communications and Content Coordinator will provide communication guidance, develop communication strategy, create and execute plans to advance the Company’s brand.
The role will deliver on measurable communication objectives across business development, advertising, PR, branding, sponsorships and events to support Group business objectives.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
BRAND MANAGEMENT & COMMUNICATION
Engage with Executive Management and relevant stakeholders (Media, Agencies, etc.) to develop a unique brand identity that would be recognized by employees, customers and other stakeholders.
Liaise with Executive Management to formulate a Brand & Corporate Communications strategy that will support corporate goals & targets and core values, and drive its implementation.
Develop, obtain approval and implement programs and initiatives to promote brand, nationally and internationally.
Coordinate new product/service launches (both internal and external).
Provide communications support to the business units across the group.
Manage the day-to-day written and visual creative process for all external communication – Company profile, stationery, and brand communication materials, ensuring any changes are in line with the Brand vision.
Ensure adherence to corporate brand guidelines across the organization.
Liaise with advertising agencies, PR agencies, and marketing groups.
Manage compilation and production of the corporate internal magazine/newsletter for circulation to all employees and selected external target audiences.
Develop and implement appropriate research and monitoring programs to track brand performance and recommend actions to address identified issues.
Make informed decisions on brand development, support new brand activities and ensure the brand values and culture are reflected accurately.
Oversee the design and production of marketing collateral and promotional programs e.g. adverts, online campaigns, corporate websites, and liaise with relevant suppliers to deliver them.
Propose and manage the Brand & Corporate Communications budget.
Work with the legal team on all corporate matters, including documentation and registrations.
Provide support to the Human Resources department to develop and implement the employer branding strategy and associated programs.
Provide support to the Human Resources department to develop, explore options and execute employee communications and engagement initiatives, and ensure they are consistent and integrated into the overall branding and communications strategy and imperatives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the wider policy and practice environment that affects the oil and gas industry and advise management on the implications for the brand.
Implement product marketing and communications plans on behalf of the group companies.
Implement the corporate brand positioning agenda for the Holding company as well as corporate brand launch and positioning for all subsidiaries.
Interact with customers, partners, stakeholders and manage inquiries in connection with image and branding issues.
SOCIAL MEDIA & CORPORATE EVENT MANAGEMENT
Promote Companys products, services, and content over social and traditional media, in a way that is consistent with the Company’s brand and strategy.
Develop social media strategies and campaigns and manage all Company digital/social media platforms.
Work to build and improve brand presence, including maintenance of the Company’s website and social media channels.
Partner with agency and internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize key SEO initiatives to improve traffic, revenue, and conversion in organic search.
Own the content generation and maintenance process end to end.
Assist with other forms of marketing when needed, such as product launches and corporate events, working with any external vendors as the Company may select.
Contribute to advancing the Company’s knowledge base by sharing information routinely.
Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute campaigns and other marketing ideas.
Provide subject matter expert support for the planning, coordination, and execution of activities required for successful attendance of external conferences, seminars, fairs, exhibitions, and any other events, ensuring alignment with approved corporate and branding templates.
Seek industry partnerships for sponsorships or speaking platforms.
Negotiate sponsorship positions with conference organizers.
Attend corporate events with and on behalf of the Group CEO; Act as the Company representative when required.
Organize and support the coordination of the Company’s participation in seminars & conferences.
Support CSR functions as determined by the CEO, including company Foundation.
Carry out market research to identify potential business opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those opportunities.
Identify sales/business leads, pitch goods or services to new clients, and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
Identify and syndicate potential partnerships that bridge the Company’s weaknesses with any particular opportunities.
Attend networking events and build industry connections to facilitate business growth.
Oversee branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business Management or a related field
Minimum of 3 years work experience in Corporate/External Affairs, Media and/or Advertising
Experience working on successful rebranding or marketing campaigns
Strong exposure to reputation and events management
An understanding of social media marketing
Existing experience running one or several social media platforms
Demonstrable track record in handling social media campaigns
Understanding of website management, graphic design skills and search engine optimization
Corporate Communications Strategy Development and Execution
Knowledgeable about strategic institutional branding
Local & International Best Practices in Public Relations/Corporate Affairs
Negotiation and Contract Management
Strong business writing skills with the ability to produce compelling and professional written content
Strong capabilities in media content development, marketing communication, media relations, digital marketing, event marketing, and brand management
