Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Cybersecurity Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks, while working closely with our cybersecurity team to ensure the safety and security of our organization’s digital assets. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a foundation in cybersecurity and develop their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the deployment and management of security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Aid in the development and updating of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct research on the latest security trends and technologies.
• Support in incident response activities, including investigating security breaches and preparing reports.
• Collaborate with other IT and security professionals to maintain security best practices.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the cybersecurity team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• – BSC degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  – Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  – Familiarity with network security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus software).
  – Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  – Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  – High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
