 As a member of the team you will:
- Help align Macmillan’s data with its business strategies
- Democratise our data within the organisation, make sure it is accurate and complete so it can be used for decision making
- Help Macmillan gain a better understanding of their data catalogue
- Help provide guidelines for managing data throughout the data lifecycle
- Create a good underlying structure which we can develop and build data governance on
- Help enforce security and privacy guidelines that come from InfoSec and InfoGov
- Supports BI and Data Platform activities
Your knowledge and experience
Essential skills:Â
- Data visualization, data migration , data pipelines and data modeling
- Relational database management systems including SQL Server
- Microsoft data tooling including Synapse, PowerBI etc. (Knowledge only not having to go into in depth solutions?)
- Information Management and Data processing on multiple platforms
- Programming languages. i.e. Python, SQL
- Strong business and communication skills
Bonus:
- MS Dynamics 365 experience
- Machine Learning, predictive modelling and NLP experience
- Cloud experience. i.e. Azure
