We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering large volumes of data into our systems. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating our databases, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Enter a large volume of data into the company’s database accurately and efficiently.
- Verify the accuracy of data and make necessary corrections or adjustments as needed.
- Ensure all data is entered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update existing databases by entering new and updated information.
- Perform regular data quality checks to identify and resolve any errors or discrepancies.
- Generate reports and retrieve data as requested by the team or management.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring proper filing and archiving of documents.
- Assist in data cleanup and data migration projects as required.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support in other administrative tasks when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role.
- Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficient in using data entry software, databases, and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Familiarity with data management and data entry best practices.
