Digital Learning Specialist

We’re searching for a Digital Learning Specialist ready to ensure the daily management of Learning Technologies that the L&D organization leverages to deliver world-class training solutions. The Digital Learning Specialist will publish learning assets like courses, assessments, surveys, etc. to the learning system, enroll users and ensure data is accurate for reporting. The role will be based in either Nigeria or Costa Rica and operate within the Learning and Development unit under the Global Learning Operations Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Publish content into the Learning Management system accurately and within the established turnaround time.
  • Enroll learners programs based on requirements and their profiles.
  • Ensure data is consistent across all curriculums, sessions, session emails, prerequisites, assignments, user profiles, etc. using Custom Reports.
  • Manage ongoing communications to users about system maintenance and deadlines (e.g., completing mandatory training, upgrades, downtime, and system changes).
  • Conduct training sessions with key stakeholders on how to use LMS functions.
  • Create documentation to assist with training.
  • Provide outstanding support to users, administrators, and instructors in the proper use, creation, and set up of courses and curricula.
  • Provide timely and efficient troubleshooting assistance to end-users by investigating all questions/issues related to learning technologies and taking appropriate action for resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in training along with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems administration and customization preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of tools such as HTML, Macromedia Flash, streaming audio, video, compression methods, file types, and formats along with advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Good understanding of learning analytics and data tracking.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to recognize problems and problem solve while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset
  • Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
