LifeBank is a healthcare technology and logistics company that’s in the business of saving lives. We believe that no African should die from a shortage of essential medical products at the hospital level, and we are on a mission to solve this. LifeBank is currently working on the blood shortage problem in Nigeria by connecting hospitals to blood banks, and blood banks to donors. We do this by hosting blood drives and by delivering blood in less than 55 minutes, in a WHO and EU recommended cold-chain, to hospitals.

Job Title: Digital Marketing Consultant

Location: Lagos

The position will report to: The GCEO and the Management team

Job Schedule: Contract (3 months)

Job Overview

  • We are seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Digital Marketing Consultant to lead our digital marketing efforts on a contract basis. In this senior role, you will be responsible for developing, crafting and designing cutting-edge digital marketing strategies and campaigns that drive business growth.
  • You will work closely with upper management to understand and align the company’s digital marketing objectives with the overall business strategy, and be responsible for managing and optimizing the digital marketing budget.
  • Your extensive experience and knowledge in the field will be instrumental in leading the execution of all digital marketing campaigns, including visual and content creation, audience targeting and segmentation, and measurement and analysis of campaign performance.
  • As a senior Digital Marketing Consultant, you should possess a proven track record of success in digital marketing, and possess advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools and solutions.
  • You should be a strategic thinker, able to handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines, and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the marketing industry, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar digital marketing senior or leadership role

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and craft comprehensive social media and digital campaign strategies for LifeBank
  • Responsible for crafting the digital marketing budget, providing timely reporting and justifications for expenses.
  • Establish detailed A/B testing processes to test campaigns, events and timing to improve performance.
  • Develop strategies to improve social media KPIs such as engagement, following, social traffic to the apps and conversions.
  • Provide support to the GCEO on an as-needed basis for various programs such as media and public relations, internal communications and commercial/advertising production projects.
  • Plan and develop excellent lead generation and conversion strategies for the company.
  • Monitor and report on key social media metrics and provide guest sentiment reporting for all platforms and channels.
  • Communicate with management to understand their marketing requirements and identify social media channels that drive greater audience engagement.
  • Analyze ongoing digital marketing strategies and suggest improvement measures.
  • Develop optimisation strategy for social media pages to drive more organic traffic.
  • Conduct in-depth research on leads and other digital marketing best practices.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of successful experience across B2B digital and outbound marketing
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies for top companies
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools and software, including marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and social media management tools
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with upper management and clients
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in industries such as Technology, E-commerce, Finance, Consulting, and Healthcare is an added advantage.
