Enrollment Manager
Job Brief: The Director of Enrollment Management will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of enrollment efforts for the university including student recruitment, admissions, and retention initiatives, to achieve the university’s enrollment goals.
-Design and implement actionable strategic plan for student recruitment that yields results.
-Improve brand awareness and reputation as well as creating and strengthening relationships with stakeholders (includes but not limited to Secondary Schools and Finishing Schools nationwide, Guidance Counsellors and Advisors, Parents Groups, Alumni Body, Government agencies related to Education and Bursaries (State and Federal)
-Show improvement in recruitment across all programs including the new School of Engineering
-Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and staff to support recruitment efforts and provide accurate and timely information about academic programs, admission requirements, and campus life.
-Monitor and analyze enrollment data, market trends, and demographic information to identify areas for growth and opportunities for increasing student enrollment.
-Develop and implement retention strategies and initiatives to promote student success, persistence, and graduation.
-Supervise and provide leadership to the enrollment management team, including recruitment officers, admissions staff, and support personnel.
-Develop and manage the enrollment management budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve enrollment targets.
-Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to enrollment management, and recommend appropriate strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
-A master’s degree in a relevant field
-5+ years proven experience in enrollment management, admissions, or related roles within a higher education institution, preferably in a leadership capacity.
-Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective enrollment strategies and initiatives.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret enrollment data and make data-driven decisions.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
-Knowledge of marketing and recruitment techniques, including digital marketing and social media strategies.
-High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to student success.
