Finance officer

Our client is a renowned event management and rental service company that takes care of all the organization and tasks needed to deliver a successful event. They are located in Opic, Isheri, Ogun State.

The Company is seeking to hire a resourceful Finance Officer with a basic understanding of financial principles and practice.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and placing a purchase order
  • Processing invoices and payments to suppliers
  • Raising sales invoices to customers and external organizations
  • Recording sales receipts, grant receipts, and income from parents
  • Administration of our cashless control system
  • Performing month-end reconciliations including nominal ledger, bank, credit card, and cashless control system
  • Monitor and analyze spend on budgets, producing reports on a regular basis
  • General day-to-day processing of financial activities

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
  • Membership in ICAN/ACCA is desired
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance acquired pre/post-NYSC
  • Experience in credit control, both purchase and sales ledgers
  • Experience using any relevant accounting software or another cashless control system
  • Experience using budgeting software for budget monitoring
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
