Finance Officer/ Compliance officer

Financial Officer is responsible for assisting in the financial operations of the terminal. Managing records and receipts. Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions. while also ensuring that the terminal complies to the regulatory and other established standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•         Develop financial policies to ensure operational efficiency.

•         Monitor inventory levels at the terminal

•         Ensure all internal controls set up for the terminal is duly followed

•         Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, gaps or variances.

•         Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, invoices, proposals, etc as required.

•         Ensure account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately and timely.

•         Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.

•         Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers.

Required Qualifications

•         Minimum of a degree with a major in Finance, Accounting or Economics

•         Must have solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures

•         Must have excellent analytical, attention to details and numerical skills

•         Must have experience using financial software

•         Must have MS Excel skills
