Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a passion for analyzing financial data to drive business decisions. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct financial analysis and research to support business decisions and strategies

– Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

– Analyze financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities

– Develop financial models and scenarios to support decision-making

– Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information

– Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients

– Monitor and report on financial performance and variances

– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis

– Assist with financial planning and budgeting processes

– Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial analysis

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

– 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role

– Strong understanding of financial principles and concepts

– Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software

– Experience with financial planning and budgeting processes

– Strong communication and presentation skills

– Ability to work independently and in a team environment

– Attention to detail and accuracy

– CPA or CFA certification is a plus
