We are looking for a qualified food manager (producer) who is to be responsible for the creation of ready to eat meals at scale.

This position requires you to have great food production skills and possess a keen eye for detail, and have great communication skills. Ultimately, a good food producer should have extensive experience in creating a variety of meals and meal types, menu creation, complex measurements, analysing data, applying changes and recording results accurately.


  • NAFDAC product registration
  • Creating meals fit for mass consumption based on pavleu’s requirements
  • Ensuring products are registered with the available food regulatory bodies for distribution
  • Creating recipes
  • Source and procure supplies needed to fulfill the requirements of the meals to be made
  • Setting up the kitchen with necessary cooking equipments
  • Studying each recipe and gathering all the necessary ingredients
  • Cooking food in a timely manner
  • Delegate tasks to kitchen team members
  • Ensure appealing meal presentation
  • Modify recipes based on location to fulfil customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
  • Monitor food stock and place orders
  • Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
  • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area


  • Proven work experience as a Food manager, for manufacturer, Food producer, Chef or Cook
  • Familiarity with food regulations and regulatory bodies in the country of operation
  • Experience managing teams
  • Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipments (e.g. grillers and gas stoves)
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations
  • Culinary school diploma preferred (or extensive applicable practical experience)
