Founding Trading Engineer

Who We are Looking For:

• Founding Trading Operations Engineer who is passionate about building products/applications within DeFi and advancing the stablecoin and derivative landscape in crypto.
• Individual who is excited by the opportunity to join a founding core team and drive a product from idea through to implementation.
• At least 2 years of experience in developing trading software infrastructure either at a market making or quantitative investment firm, or from within an exchange on the client-server software.
• A genuine passion for building technology and pushing forward innovation in DeFi.
• An individual who is curious and always looking to learn new concepts on the overlap between frontier technology and financial concepts.
• You can write and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• The focus of the role would be to work on the internal trading and arbitrage platform with a focus on centralized venues that spans real time low latency data capture, order entry and execution on dozens of exchanges, robust connectivity and built-in automated monitoring.
• Primary responsibility will be securely expanding and scaling up our trading platform, mainly using C++ and Python.
• Design and build automated delta-neutral derivative strategies within smart contracts which will implement customized algorithms to efficiently capture the most efficient arbitrage opportunities across DeFi and centralized derivative venues.
• Working with various custody and exchange providers to build secure connectivity to various venues via our smart contracts.
• Creative license to push the boundaries of DeFi derivative infrastructure design.
• Collaborate with the team and cross-functional partners on all aspects of product development including smart contract back-end engineers and front-end internal risk monitoring.
• Mentor team members to refine their technical and architectural skills.

Requirements

• At least 2 years working within an engineering role at a trading entity or exchange.
• Strong C++ and Python skills are required and will be tested.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure and risk monitoring applications.
• Understanding of networking, CPU and memory model and assembly language.
• Extensive experience interacting with exchange APIs with knowledge on individual exchange API intricacies.
• Knowledge of derivative contract specifications across exchanges highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with managing a secure enterprise Github with version control.
• Basic working knowledge of Solidity preferred but not required.
