What you will be doing:-
- Leadership and line management responsibility of both team leaders and technical staff required to fulfil the contractual needs of the respective account(s) within the STA account.
- Accountable for the scoping, planning and delivery of MI & Data for the STA Programme
- Lead SME on the end-to-end Data journey •
- Strong stakeholder management with the client and internal operations
- Capacity planning and tracking of Data & MI deliverables.
- Collaboration with STA programme leaders
- Managing and reporting the delivery of operational and contractual requirements and obligations
- Leadership and management of key technical delivery resources
- Conduit for the senior leaders of Capita
What we’re looking for:-
The role (Head of Data & MI) will cover all aspects of solution implementation including:
- Demand Management •
- Project management of the solution delivery
- Waterfall and Agile ways of working
- Successful delivery of Data and MI deliverables
- Comfortable analysing quantitative and qualitative data and translating into actionable insights
- Facilitating the sharing of research and insights best practice in line with our ambition to be World Class
- Ways of working, process and governance
- Oversight of localised financials
- Supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with critical updates on programme progress
- Sensitive and collaborative stakeholder management
- Working closely with teams in other areas to ensure that requirements are flagged early and that teams are engaged appropriately
- Loves making things simple and enhancing processes and ways of working that deliver great outcomes and experiences
- Exceptional attention to detail
Essential and desirable skills:
- Knowledge of BI tools and data manipulation techniques
- Documenting strategies and architectural designs
- Understanding of Data Quality Assurance
- Understanding of technical statistical techniques
- Evidence of scoping, creating, and delivering projects to senior stakeholders (e.g., Board and ExCo level) in a delivery environment
- Exemplary presentation & writing skills
- Commercial awareness and business acumen
- Driving results through collaboration
- Energetic, enthusiastic, supportive and innovative
- Impeccable communication skills
- Can handle multiple tasks and projects at once
- Ability to create impact and speak credibly with senior stakeholders
- Ability to operate and manage stakeholders at all levels
- Experienced Project Manager on complex multifaceted projects
