Head of Digital Analytics

The UK Analytics Team operates within the UK Insights division, is a critical part of our Global Analytics practice, and collaborates closely with Consultancy and Insights teams across EMEA to deliver expert digital analytics, marketing optimisation, and data strategy. Digital Analytics is the largest of the of three core areas of the UK Analytics offer.

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Deliver operational leadership that shapes and executes the UK Analytics and UK Insights strategies and the Global Analytics Plan.
  • Deliver revenue and growth targets by leading digital insight services both as a stand-alone offer and when blended with the full range of our insights and marketing effectiveness capabilities.
  • Successfully expand our best-in-class Digital Consultancy offer across Kantar and to current and new clients.
  • Educate the market and internal teams about the power of our Analytics and Digital Consulting offer, and guide the delivery of high quality projects that lead to recurring sales.
  • Lead our team of 45+ digital professionals, helping them to build their capabilities and careers while identifying opportunities for our business to develop new tools and techniques.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Digital Analytics plan, manage the UK Digital Analyics P&L, and identify operational improvements to make us the best at getting better.
  • Integrate digital data into Kantar’s different working practices, methodologies, client requirements, and commercial ambitions.
  • Act as an internal ambassador and client leader for new capabilities, support and enable our business development teams to engage and add-value to our clients.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the UK Analytics leadership, business development, and client service teams.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with other Kantar teams to support any client discussions or activities that can build value for our clients and teams in the UK or EMEA.
  • Be a subject matter expert visible in the market, engaging and leading conversations with clients, and present the best of our offer at conferences, webinars, and in thought leadership materials.
  • Take on responsibility for the success and profile of Analytics across Kantar UK and globally including supporting the wider Insights and Global Analytics strategies.

EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

  • Results focused people leader, with proven track record of building, operating and growing a strong digital consultancy, digital marketing, or market research function.
  • Experience of working with cross-fuctional teams, maximising the strengths of each talent set, culture and offering, whilst managing and minimizing conflict and minimising duplication of effort.
  • An exceptional communicator and influencer, able to articulate a clear and compelling vision and take people with them.
  • Proven client leader able to effectively showcase to, and educate, the market on digital analytics and consulting offers and capabilities.
  • Strong commercial and client focus with the ability to quickly understand and utilise internal systems, resources and structures to drive revenue growth in market.
  • Subject matter expert on digital marketing and research methodologies, able to provide opinion and guidance to key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Agile and flexible approach based on evolving business objectives with the ability to balance tactical, hands-on requirements while maintaining strategic oversight.
