About the job
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Attracting and hiring qualified candidates for various roles within the construction company, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
– Assisting new hires with their orientation and onboarding process, ensuring they have the necessary information, resources, and tools to succeed in their roles.
– Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to the construction industry, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
– Managing the performance appraisal process, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback to employees, and facilitating the development of performance improvement plans when necessary.
– Handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting employee morale and engagement.
– Identifying training needs within the construction company, coordinating and delivering training programs to enhance employees’ skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
– Administering employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits enrollment, and managing employee leave and time-off policies
– Any other additional task assigned
Essential Requirements:
– First Degree in a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years experience in HR management.
– Professional qualification will be an advantage.
