Job Description:
Swap Space is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Human Resources Recruiting Specialist. This unpaid internship opportunity is designed to provide hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition within a fast-paced startup environment. As a Human Resources Recruiting Specialist, you will play a vital role in attracting and selecting top talent to support the growth and success of Swap Space.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating job descriptions and advertisements for open positions.
- Utilize various recruitment channels to source and identify potential candidates.
- Review resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings.
- Maintain candidate databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to improve recruitment processes and strategies.
- Assist in organizing recruitment events and career fairs.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using online recruitment platforms and social media for candidate sourcing.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
