IT Support (Web / Network/ Software / Hardware) Specialist for School

Description/Responsibilities:

· This role is to maintain and operate computer systems, apps, school smartboards, network and peripherals and maintain school website.

· The IT Support responsibilities’ scope include installing, supporting and maintaining desktop & network computing systems; planning for and responding to service outages and other problems that may arise and enhancing the school website.

School Website:

Website Development Plan and design web system specifications, and write, modify, integrate web-related code. Keep the web information up to date which involves on-going data collecting and records updating. Monitor web system performance and troubleshoot web system technical problems. Collect, analysis and report website performance data Google SEO / google analytics to analysis and report ads performance and website traffic. Monitor and Optimize SEO keywords planning and content. Research and analyze competitor websites. .

At least one-year relevant working experience with the field of website development and google SEO.

Technical Support for Teachers, Staff and Students:

Experience providing technical support to users for day to day IT issues (desktop & network connectivity issues, MS Office, MS 365, & School Management System.)

Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and collaborate with team members internally.

Knowledge and skills with PC operating system (Windows 10 and IOS), computer hardware repair, and device connectivity (TCP/IP, network adaptor configuration.)

Proficiency with modern classroom tools, such as LMS (Learning Management System), SMS (School Management System), computers, projectors and Interactive Whiteboards.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science / Engineering (4 years)
  • Web Developer certification
  • Microsoft Certification
  • ITIL, CCNA, MTA/ MCSA MCSE, CISCO certifications would be an added advantage
  • At least 3 years of qualitative experience in technology deployment or support
  • Must possess good understanding of windows based applications and their interaction with the underlying operating system environment
  • Must possess good knowledge of windows server operating system and Network Infrastructure, hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to provide a police character certificate and pass background checks.
