Requirements
You will assist the Subject Librarian in providing and developing library and information services to meet the needs of students and staff. You will participate in front-line services and administrative duties including support for self-issue systems, IT and printing. You will assist users with directional and initial information enquiries, including the use of the library catalogue and electronic information resources available for ICMP students.The successful candidate will assist in the collection development, cataloguing and processing of books and eBooks, and manage reservations. It will also be required to participate in shelving and inventory activities and demonstrate an understanding of the DDC.The role includes responsibility for the promotion of the Library resources and will require to assist in delivering information and digital literacy sessions to students, researchers, and staff.The successful candidate will ideally have some experience in librarianship or information management, within the HE and/or FE sectors.
