We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Job Summary:
As a Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient mining operations, optimizing production processes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, and technicians to plan and execute mining projects while maximizing resource extraction and minimizing environmental impact.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement mining plans, designs, and schedules to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and geological assessments to determine the viability of mining projects.
3. Collaborate with geologists to analyze geological data and identify mineral deposits and their characteristics.
4. Design and supervise the construction of mine shafts, tunnels, and underground structures.
5. Oversee drilling, blasting, and extraction activities to ensure efficient mineral recovery.
6. Monitor and control mining operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
7. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
8. Provide technical expertise and guidance to operational teams to resolve technical issues and optimize mining processes.
9. Analyze and interpret production data, and implement measures to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
10. Collaborate with maintenance and equipment teams to ensure the availability and reliability of mining equipment and machinery.
11. Develop and maintain mine plans, maps, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
12. Stay updated with advancements in mining technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and implement relevant improvements.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience working as a Mining Engineer in the mining industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of mining operations, processes, and equipment.
4. Familiarity with mining software and technologies used in mine planning and design.
5. Strong understanding of geology, mineralogy, and ore deposit evaluation.
6. Proficient in conducting feasibility studies, economic evaluations, and risk assessments.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
8. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
10. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations governing mining operations.
