Our client is looking for an experienced Operations manager.
Job Description
The Operation’s Manager will oversee all operational activities and will
ensure company wide excellence in security execution and strategy.
Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and
serving as primary liaison with clients and registered regulatory bodies.
Work closely with Chairman and management team to set and/or
implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through
with implementation.
The Operations Manager will also serve as company’s liaison to
external security stakeholders, including both local and national offices.
This position requires effective leadership, organizational and
communication skills and will collaborate with and execute all other
tasks assigned by the Chairman/Directors.
Ensure patrol officers carryout proper weekly patrol and guard
discipline where necessary.
Build strong business relationship with both old and new clients to
drive sales growth.
Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis
of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively,
purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data, and
reduce over spending.
Responsible for briefing for all the SECURITY GUARDS, PATROL
OFFICERS Drivers and other ADMIN STAFF.
Ensure proper on-boarding/orientation of new staff.
Collaborate with sales team (marketers/PR) to develop sales
strategies to market company products to prospective clients and meet
their targets.
Ensuring periodic checks of all operational vehicles to maintain optimal
functionality and give necessary recommendation and feedback to the
Chairman.
Occasional visit to guard locations to ascertain their welfare and see if
they are obeying company’s procedure and also visit clients that have
one or more complaints, which has to do with our services.
REQUIREMENTS
B.Sc or HND in any related field and at least 2yrs experience in guard
force management.
Should reside within Ajah and Lakowe axis.
Ability to conduct risk/threat assessments and develop measures to
mitigate identified risks.
Demonstrated entry-level or mid-Level executive management
leadership experience.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team work environment.
Ability to recognize issues and develop resolutions.
Ability to coordinate proactive and effective responses in a high
stressed environment.
Project management skills.
Conflict resolution skills.
Ability to create effective response protocol to specific incidents.
General knowledge of access control systems.
Knowledge of budget process and business planning
