Not only do we improve Ethereum’s performance by orders of magnitude, we donate 100% of the profits generated from doing so to Ethereum public goods. We do this because we believe the future of the open internet is too important to be left to chance. By operating as a Public Benefit Corporation we’re able to align private incentives with public good and create a positive-sum economic model that provides a sustainable future for the internet.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Work with a sense of urgency to support the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel
- Prepare contract summaries of salient terms
- Under the supervision of senior attorneys, prepare documents based on pre-established outlines and forms
- Solicit specialist and business feedback on contract terms when necessary
- Assist in creating term sheets and shaping contract terms
What skills do you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years experience as a Legal Assistant, Contract Manager or Paralegal
- Hyper organized with extreme attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to understand and explain contract terminology
- Basic understanding of contractual concepts (e.g. signing authority, necessary parties, contractual elements, etc.)
- Strong time and project management skills
- Able to work in a flexible manner across time zones and business teams
- Demonstrated interest in web3 is a plus but not required
