We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing medication counseling to patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals, conducting medication reviews, compounding medications when required, offering drug information, and reporting adverse events. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to optimal patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Dispensing Medications: Pharmacists are responsible for accurately interpreting prescriptions, verifying medication orders, and dispensing the appropriate medications to patients.
2. Medication Counseling: Pharmacists provide counseling and information to patients regarding the proper use, dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions of their prescribed medications.
3. Patient Care: Pharmacists work closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. They may collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapy and patient outcomes.
4. Medication Review: Pharmacists conduct medication reviews to evaluate the appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness of prescribed medications. They may identify potential drug interactions, duplications, or contraindications and provide recommendations for adjustments.
5. Compounding: Some pharmacists specialize in compounding medications, which involves preparing customized medications based on specific patient needs, such as adjusting dosage forms or removing allergens.

Qualifications

B.Pharm degree

Must have completed NYSC

Location must be close to Victoria island
