Procurement/ Inventory Officer
To assist with the use of outsourcing of all press supplies from vendors. Also expected to assist in maintaining and monitoring products that come from vendors are good quality jobs and professionally respond to queries on enquiries relating to vendors or outsourced products or services. Ensuring that all daily orders meet quality and efficiency standards and purchase materials for production
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform outsourcing daily operations with high integrity and efficiency.
- Perform the business’ sourcing strategy across all production operations.Â
- Drive efficient, consistent and compliant processes for vendor relationship and management of major vendors.Â
- Serving as a bridge between Production teams and vendors
- efficiently and independently manage the entire procurement of goods from vendors
- Provide operational expertise on the entire procurement and outsourcing process
- Ensure alignment of teams to the related outsourcing strategies
- Drive outsourcing activities by interfacing with operational teams, support groups and service providers for successful selection,Â
- contracting and execution of outsourced goods/services while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, outsourcing and procurement policies and procedures
- Select, order and purchase production materials
Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
- Ensure 100% daily updates on prices of materialsÂ
- Respond to all order request/ inquiries for all status order and resolve production material issues within 2 hours of receiving the message
- Achieve 100% error free and quality output on all job order
- Achieve at least 95% of job order request form daily/weekly order
- Ensure 100% availability of production materials in store
- Ensure a timely submission of job order request form to the account department daily
- Submit monthly report on compliance monitoring of quality procedures and processes regarding job orders and production management
- Submit inventory report on a monthly basisÂ
- Take at least one professional course yearly

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, Good interpersonal and communication skills, work well under pressure, adjusts quickly to change, be good analytical thinkers, able to gather data, determine and take a course of action after identifying possible consequences, expected to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.Â
Qualifications
- Minimum of First School Leaving Certificate
- 3 to 5 years’ work experience in relevant industry.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervision responsibilities. Â
