As a Procurement Manager you will be key member of the governance and operations team and work directly with the Group Director and category teams to support the day to day operations covering our core procurement activities.

Job Description

Key activities include:

  • Working with team members to gain an in-depth understanding of the industry and learn sourcing strategies across small to medium sized deals.
  • Execute improvement projects across the organisation to drive operational improvements supported by the Group CPO.
  • Work with the Divisional Procurement Directors to support the development of their  cross-functional procurement strategies.
  • Governing our supplier relationship management framework to manage the strategy and monitor the team’s performance across our strategic supply base
  • Research sourcing strategies and work with category teams to support improvement activities across our supply chain.
  • Researching market trends to support knowledge sharing across key spend categories.
  • Carry out regular reviews across the team to review status on current procurement activities, address risks and challenges and ensure delivery against business commitments.
  • Review spend analytics regularly to support data analysis requirements across spend categories
