Product Marketer

We are looking for a Product Marketer to oversee our outbound marketing efforts. You will be in charge of presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and increase sales.

You must be both creative and quantitative in your thinking to be considered for this position. You should be familiar with a variety of product marketing strategies, such as email campaigns, storytelling to a varied audience, and pricing strategies.

Your mission will be to create, implement and refine the most optimal strategies for positioning and promoting our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • A key role for the go-to-market team. Works collaboratively with Sales, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Demand Generation, and other teams to drive growth and customer success.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market.
  • Owns and creates content (e.g. data sheets, infographics, solution briefs, white papers, user guides, web tutorials, web content, presentations, sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, release announcements) to articulate the benefits of our brand and products to the world.
  • Partner with the Product Management team to communicate the value proposition of the product to the sales team. Develop the sales tools and training that support the selling process of the product.
  • Support teams with brand/product training when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Plan the launch of new related products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Be the expert on understanding buyers of the product, how they buy, and their buying criteria.
  • Be the expert in understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position the product and identify new required capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Marketer
  • Experience crafting compelling messages across several channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
  • 3+ years experience in marketing enterprise software
  • MUST have SaaS experience
  • Experience in market analysis and segmentation
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Experience in B2B marketing, and working closely with the product development team is preferred
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Excellent communication skills
