Product Marketer

The Role is for an experienced Product Marketer. For this role, we’re looking out for creativity in marketing ideas as well as technical know-how of implementing these ideas, campaigns, and carrying out general marketing activities — so great ideas and great implementation 😊
This is product marketing, so a big part of this role is understanding our product deeply, and how everything works together to make our creators happy. It’s definitely a big plus to understand the space and industry of our creators, because that gives you richer context on how to better market to them.
Selar.co is an all-in-one ecommerce store builder for selling digital products and services. Creators on Selar sell ebooks, courses, trainings, memberships, subscriptions, e.t.c
We have over 25k creators and 135k users today.
Our marketing channels: Email, Organic Social Media, Online Ads, Blog & Press.
Responsibilities:
* Email Marketing & Automations
* Scheduling Bi-weekly Webinars & taking leadership of the funnel
– Build the landing page with Webinar Jam/Selar Sales page builder
– Email Automations
– Optimizing thank you page for conversion.
* Media Buying (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads)
* Create highly converting and creative ad campaigns that moves the needle
* Product Marketing Via our media channels (we have a social media manager. You just need to give direction and guide).
* Open to having Instagram live, twitter space, Webinars with guest, etc (This is shared amongst the team).
* Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
* Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
* Effectively lead the product messaging and marketing of Selar’s features across various channels.
* Effectively craft product messaging and copies for product announcement.
PS: the above list is an actual replica of your day to day, and all of the above is required to be successful at this role.
Salary is between ₦ 120k – 250k.

Test 1:
Selar is launching a new landing page builder – demo link: Selar.co/builderdemo
A product landing page is one of the most critical features for creators today. Write out the marketing copy for the social media announcement and the marketing copy (and design if you may) for the ads to market this feature to potential customers. Create a google doc and add all of the copy and designs in that doc. PS: You don’t have to be great at design, the important thing is the strength of your marketing through the ideas you share.
Test 2:
Go through our IG – @tryselar, and scan to see our product marketing announcements, and give a recommendation 3 (or more) things we could’ve done better on any product announcement in the last 6 months.
