Programme Associate
Who are we looking for?
The Client is looking for a suitable candidate who will take ownership of the role, and deliver on the projects given. More so, the position provides adequate support to the program department to ensure the optimal delivery of the goals and vision of the organization.
The position holder will work actively with the program director, the Client community, and partners to deliver assigned tasks (both technical and administrative). He/She will report to the Program Director.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining program schedules, and assisting in the planning and management of program events.
- Developing detailed work plans and schedules for project activities.
- Collaborating closely with the Program Director to ensure alignment.
- Participating in research activities to gather information for projects.
- Contributing to proposal development sessions for funding opportunities.
- Completing any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Provide assistance in planning and arrangement of meetings, webinars, and training.
- Working actively with projects leads to developing quality project/program reports.
- Brainstorm innovative ways of improving project/program output.
- Work with relevant departments to monitor and evaluate project activities.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Abilities:
Qualifications
- BSc in Business Administration, Management, or any related field and mandatory NYSC year.
- Two (2) years of work experience in project management or related roles
- Proficiency in the use of technical software and project management tools
Experience & Skills
- Experience drafting project reports and monitoring project progress.
- Experience working on a donor-funded project is an added advantage
- Experience working with organizational tools and software.
- Good report writing skills.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheet, PowerPoint) and Internet usage.
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
