Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

We are looking for a hardworking, detail oriented, and confident person to act as a champion to develop realistic user test cases and data based on the latest mortgage industry trends. In this role you will create and perform manual tests to verify integrity of the code base. You will be expected to work with Product, BA’s, and Development.

• Author, Maintain, Execute, and Validate new and existing end to end test cases.
• Defect Management Responsible for documenting defects including steps to reproduce and expected results.
• Present Defects in project triage meetings and drive them to resolution.
• Responsible for staying up to date on the latest environment changes and monitoring various chat rooms to watch for system outages.
• Work in a flexible agile development environment with rapid release cycles.
• Works closely with Developers, QA and other project team members to analyze test results, locate problems, identify root causes and develop solutions.
• Work primarily under the direction of a more senior QA Analyst or Engineer.

Knowledge And Experience

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent from a fully-accredited college or university desired.
• 3+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance
• Prior Simplifile experience a plus.
• Familiarity with web applications and the ability to learn how to test them via manual methods.
• Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently, without close supervision.
• Understands Agile/Scrum methodologies as well as QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with various test levels such as integration testing, functional, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
