Urgent Recruitment for Recruitment Executive
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos (Full- time, Onsite)
About the Role
We are looking forward to engage an experienced Recruitment Executive to join our team whose responsibilities include engaging and building strategic partnerships with relevant employers, professional networks and bodies to develop talent pipelines and ensure effective promotion of placements and internships. Identify new placements, internships and projects with employers, and convert potential opportunities into vacancies (including advising companies on choice of candidates, arranging interviews, matching job offers to candidates).
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to first line enquiries from employers and candidates regarding placements
- Keep accurate records of Job Placements, ensuring there is sufficient evidence to meet the funding requirements
- Monitor progress of candidates throughout their work placements
- Provide positive motivation and leadership to the Placements and Internships team, including line management (professional development review and appraisal, performance management and team development)
- Liaising with the relevant curriculum based staff in order to ensure forward planning of work placements.
- Assist in the learning activities so that candidates are prepared for their Work Placement.
- Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans, Create and publish job ads in various portal, screen resumes and job applications
- Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
- Create presentations and produce management-level reports.
- Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive) and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire, Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
- Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
- Host and participate in job fairs and maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
Experience within Recruitment, management and working in a result-oriented environment.
Client relationship management.
Networking skills, Presentation and report writing.
Proven ability to plan and manage projects, driving activity to completion while attending to detail
Proven ability to be proactive, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a forward thinking environment
Knowledge of labor legislation.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a creative approach to problem solving
Demonstrable IT skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Renumeration: #140,000 gross and other benefits.
Must have at least 2 year experience as a Recruitment Executive? Must have completed NYSC and reside within Lagos Island.
