Manuchar is a leading distributor of chemicals across emerging markets and actively trades several other commodities, with Belgian roots.

For the position of Sales Coordinator Nigeria, we are looking for a colleague to coordinate the performance and efficiency levels of the Commercial Managers by supporting sales, ensuring order satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, motivating staff and setting the prices of products.

The job

·      Efficiently coordinate the activities of the commercial teams in Nigeria.

·      Coordinate the commercial teams by handling business enquiries, drawing up offers and assuring proper follow-up of quotations.

·      Collaborating with other departments, locally and overseas, to ensure sales, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.

·      Monitor the commercial team’s progress and report efficiently.

·      Identify shortcomings and propose areas for improvement.

·      Supervise the handling of orders from a strategic and commercial perspective.

·      Identify and solve problems smoothly and (re)negotiate conditions when necessary.

·      Develop and implement policies and processes that will improve the overall sales process.

Your profile

Functional

·      Knowledge of international and local trade standards and documents.

·      Detailed knowledge of the complete sales coordination processes and guidelines.

·      Excellent verbal and written language skills. Proficient English speaker.

·      Understanding of all IT applications and repositories related to sales transactions.

·      A strong understanding of the international chemical trading industry is a strong bonus.

·      Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills are required for success in this position.

General

·      Understanding of the Group’s activities and structure.

·      Knowledge of the different roles and responsibilities in the company.

·      Knowledge and application of the Manuchar values.

Personality

·      Attention to detail and perfectionist in terms of accuracy.
