Senior Editor
We’re looking for a seasoned editor to oversee our business section. If you’re interested in working in the luxury travel industry, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of remote and freelance writers as well as reporting to the marketing team.
Adventure Travel 365’s publication arm, which will serve as a significant advertising platform, is ripe with opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Work with the marketing team to plan content for all digital magazine issues, printed editions, and email newsletter
• Create and generate stories as needed
• Assign, oversee, and edit stories from staff or freelance writers across the globe
• Be a champion for our voice and tone across the business to ensure our customers receive a holistic brand experience.
• Work closely with the company’s marketing department
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of digital editorial experience, with a strong focus on travel, lifestyle, or luxury
- Experience managing a group of external writers
- Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with a team
- Familiarity with headlines, subheads, captions, and other elements of story-building and promotion
- Writing and editing styles that are straightforward, engaging, and free of jargon
