Senior Operations Associate at Africa Resource Company
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Obtain an in-depth understanding of all the solutions provided by the team.
• Manage internal projects by ensuring they stay on track and are effectively prioritized
• Lead key operational improvement strategies and initiatives across the company
• Communicate product feature suggestions and updates based on interaction with the clients to the relevant product managers for planning, design and development.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, goals, and initiatives in line with the company’s overall objectives.
• Analyze market trends, customer demands, and industry best practices to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
• Evaluate and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies to drive process enhancements and cost savings.
• Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and collaboration across the organization.
• Monitor and manage budgetary aspects related to operations, ensuring cost-effective practices.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align operations with business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support smooth operations.
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 years working experience
• Experience in a Strategy, Operations or Project Management role
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Experience or understanding of the financial services industry is desirable
• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for operational analysis, reporting, and project management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to collaborate with other teams and external service providers
• Ability to work under pressure with high volume and tight deadlines
• Excellent excel and computer skills.
