Senior Paid Social Manager

About the role:

As a key member of WorldRemit’s performance marketing team, you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s direction and decision making.

We need a Senior Paid Social Manager with advanced knowledge of the Meta ecosystem and strategic thinking to help take us to the next level of investment and keep innovating.

As Senior Paid Social Manager, you will help to grow our customer base across key money transfer audiences and send/receive corridors globally, working closely with Meta and our performance marketing and creative agency partners.

You will help to shape and execute a world-class paid social acquisition strategy, managing significant budgets and demonstrating impact on our bottom line.

What you will own:

Reporting to the Performance Marketing Director, you will:

  • Be responsible for planning, developing, and executing best-in-class paid social strategies for our business globally.
  • Lead a dedicated creative agency team to develop assets that contribute to industry-leading engagement metrics.
  • Take ownership of budgets in our highest-spending channel, delivering results for a highly visible marketing platform for the business.
  • Make an impact on the bottom line through new customer acquisition campaigns for our apps.
  • Develop strong relationships with our platform reps at Meta and TikTok to help us get the best out of the platforms.
  • Manage a dedicated performance marketing agency team, delegating appropriately and being a trusted point of contact.
  • Make use of third party tools like Smartly and Tealium to gain a competitive advantage on paid social.
  • Constantly test and learn, with a rigorous approach to planning and documenting results.

What you bring to the table: 

  • You’ll be an expert in paid social, with significant experience delivering high performance campaigns across multiple countries, languages, platforms, and at scale.
  • Proven results working with advanced Meta ad products (DPAs, 3CO, DLO, CAPI), especially in relation to app campaigns, as well as experience with TikTok.
  • Ability to provide well-considered and constructive feedback to our creative agency, making recommendations that lead to high performing and on-brand social ads.
  • Analytical and data-driven, you’ll be keen to problem solve and prove hypotheses in a statistically significant way.
  • Experience of attribution tools like Google Analytics and AppsFlyer, and the ability to articulate the measurement challenges on iOS.
  • Ability to self-start, stay organised and plan / prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met and projects are delivered.
  • A team player, you’ll work well with others in the performance marketing team and across the wider organisation and agency partners.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication / collaboration skills.
  • Critical thinking – highly analytical, able to own, diagnose and solve problems.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, moving quickly from idea to implementation, documenting your planning and results thoroughly.
