Senior Software Engineer – Backend/DevOps

Your mission

We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Backend/DevOps (m/f/x) who will help us further develop, test, and improve our existing product.

• Build and operate services in a production environment used by pioneering customers across the globe
• Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our services and infrastructure
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on the broader product vision
• Ship fast and iterate to deliver value to our customers with a strong focus on quality
• Explore new methods and technologies to improve user experience and system performance, continuously improving and scaling our CI/ CD pipeline in an Agile/DevOps environment
• Support recruitment for a fast-growing engineering organization

About you

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in backend/ DevOps development, ideally in an (early-stage) start-up
• Proficient in server-side Javascript (NodeJS, NestJS) or other backend languages
• Significant experience building scalable software systems with a background in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Experience designing and operating services in cloud-deployed environments (AWS S3, Cloudfront, Lambda, Docker, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Redshift)
• Profound experience with infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Gitlab)
