As our SEO Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in helping clients optimize their websites and increase organic search visibility. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including the SEO Strategist and SEO Content Writer, you’ll ensure our online content is fully optimized, adheres to SEO best practices, and drives organic traffic growth.

Hyport Digital, a leader in digital advertising and marketing services, is seeking a full-time, remote SEO Specialist to help clients increase their organic search visibility. Hyport Digital helps businesses of all sizes grow their online presence and improve conversions through tailored digital marketing strategies. Interviews for this opening will be conducted over the phone and via video calls. As a reminder, this role will be fully remote. The starting salary for this position is $63,300 annually.

In a Typical Day, You’ll:

Collaborate with team members, including the SEO Product Manager, Strategist, Content Writer, and Website Design Specialist to develop and execute effective SEO strategies and initiatives.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and industry research to identify target keywords, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Edit and proof website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and other elements, to improve search engine visibility.
Run website audits and identify technical, on-page, and off-page SEO issues, including analyzing website structure, URL optimization, meta tags, keyword usage, backlinks, and overall site health.
Assist with on-page and off-page optimization activities to improve organic search rankings and website visibility.
Monitor and analyze website traffic and keyword rankings and provide regular reports to the SEO Product Manager.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices and continuously improve your SEO knowledge and skills through independent learning and professional development.

To Land This Gig, You Need:

Proven experience and success as an SEO Strategist, in SEO, or a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, concepts, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
Familiarity with SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, SERanking, etc.
Proficiency in keyword research and analysis.
A strong understanding of on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively to manage multiple projects, clients, and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Positive energy and a positive attitude.

It’s Not Required, But We’d Love It If You Also Have:

Proficiency in content management systems, such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.
Experience in digital content writing as it relates to SEO.
