Social Media Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a Social Media Assistant with a creative flair and a keen understanding of

how to organically grow online communities, especially on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in content ideation, content creation processes, and inherently viral, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Instagram, TikTok & YouTube Shorts accounts.
• Batch-create compelling, visually appealing content for our social media channels.
• Engage with customers, respond to comments and direct messages, and foster a sense of community.
• Strategize and implement tactics to organically grow our community of small business owners.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and tools, and suggest ways to leverage them for our community.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in rapidly growing social media communities (must submit portfolio)
• Intermediate to expert skills in graphic design, especially with Canva.
• Proficiency with social media planning tools such as Later and Buffer.
• Ability to create engaging, organic video-based content (e.g. CapCut).
• Experience in customer engagement and community management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Performance Goals:

• The success of this role will be measured based on follower growth, engagement rate, and organic content interactions (saves, shares, comments, clicks etc.).
