Job Purpose
The Digital Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.
Job Description
This position is responsible to define and prioritize stores in the team backlog. This allows the solution to effectively address program priorities (feature and enablers) while maintaining technical integrity. The PO also attends the relevant product management events for planning and program backlog/vision refinement.
- Owning and prioritizing development teams’ backlog – consisting mostly of user stories, it also includes defects and enablers
- Accepting stories – validating that the story meets acceptance criteria, that it has the appropriate, persistent acceptance tests, and that it otherwise complies with its Definition of Done (DoD).
- Preparation and participation in PI planning
- Coordinating activities and deliveries
- Coordinate sprints
- Contributes to the product vision, roadmap and content presentations
- Software Development Administration

Additional Skills
• Have a relevant degree within technology with 5+ years of experience as product owner with relevant business experience
• Demonstrated team management and leadership skills
• Command of SAFe Agile development work flow, backlog process, scrum and user stories
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in an SAFe Agile team-oriented environment
• Ability to work and lead with SAFe Agile methodology including Scrum
• Excellent command of verbal and written English
• Experience working with product managers and product management methods
SAFe PO/PM certification preferred
