This is an incredible opportunity to join a very fast growing startup as the FIRST Solutions Engineer.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic Sales team at beehiiv. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for prospecting enterprise customers, building migration solutions, closing deals, and spearheading the onboarding experience.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and a passion for solving unique problems.
Ideally you will have:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Product Manager or a similar role
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to use, understand, and demonstrate software features and functionalities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and key stakeholders
  • Genuine excitement about scaling a nascent platform
  • An ownership mentality
  • Experience working at a startup or an email platform is a huge plus
  • Experience using beehiiv is an ever bigger plus

What you will be responsible for

  • Lead diligence for prospective customers to fully understand their existing technology stack, processes, pain points, etc.
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of beehiiv’s suite of content tools, tailored to each prospect’s specific requirements
  • Build, communicate, and execute bespoke migration processes for prospective customers to ensure a seamless transition to using beehiiv
  • Lead the entire onboarding process from deal close to actively utilizing beehiiv to its full potential
  • Build new or leverage existing solutions and/or integrations to maximize the capabilities of the platform based on the prospect’s specific needs and goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to ensure a seamless and successful sales and onboarding process
