Job Description

Our client is a group of companies and a key leader in the Financial Services industry in Nigeria, and they act as Financial Advisors, Stockbrokers, Wealth Managers, and Trustees, and we are currently recruiting to fill vacant positions- Stockbrokers at their office in Lagos.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Ø Generate income and meet income target within the stock market in line with the set-target determined at the beginning of an appraisal period.

Ø Providing accurate investment advice to clients within the stock market.

Ø Aggressive marketing of the company’s products and services. Effectively profile prospects/clients,

Ø Analyze their financial risk appetite, needs and goals for investing and provide guidance to them as regards their investments.

Ø Follow up on clients’ mandates to ensure they are promptly executed and error free

Ø Providing regular updates to clients regarding the status of their investment portfolios and making changes in investment strategies based on market conditions

Ø Maintain a cordial business relationship with all clients whilst ensuring regular communication with assigned clients.

Ø Effectively work with members of the team in handling all relationship management issues, such that all clients have access to more than one account officer at any given time.

Ø Prepare and deliver presentations/seminars to clients and prospects for business development purposes.

Qualifications & Job Attributes:

·       A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable Higher Institution.

·       Professional qualification from Chartered Institute of Stockbroker will be an added advantage.

·       A prior working experience in the investment and wealth management industry is required.

·       Excellent presentation skills.

·       Excellent prospecting and marketing skills.

·       Good knowledge of the Capital market and its operations.

·       Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
