It’s an incredibly exciting time here at Space Ape Games. We have projects at all stages of the development cycle, along with a fast paced environment that promotes genuine autonomy. We launched our successful music game, Beatstar, in 2021, and are expanding on our music franchise within the business! We’re preparing to globally launch our new creative puzzle game, Chrome Valley Customs, this year! And we also have some exciting projects we’re working on behind the scenes!We’re looking for a highly organised, aspiring and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist who recognises the importance of diversity and cultural benefits to the team. Your mission will be to find amazing talent to join us, ensuring the needs and expectations of both our hiring managers and our candidates are met, whilst putting candidate experience at the heart of everything you do.You’ll work alongside the hiring teams, supporting and guiding them through the end to end recruitment process. You’ll play a variety of roles from talent scout, strategist, advocate, administrator to negotiator. You’ll use your well-developed ability to assess and analyse talent for their suitability, technical skills and cultural add.We’re looking for someone who is able to join our hybrid model of spending at least 2 days per week in our studio in London, this isn’t a remote opportunity.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify the hiring needs and capabilities required; translate those needs into the job description and establish the bespoke interview process
- Build talent acquisition strategies to improve the visibility and outreach of our career opportunities at Space Ape
- Source, engage and activate, high quality, talented individuals via a combination of, headhunting, networking and search strategies
- Conduct initial screening calls to access skills and suitability. Shortlist and share recommendations with the hiring team.
- Maintain the ATS, interview and selection process. This includes scheduling interviews, collecting feedback and communicating with candidates throughout the process.
- Finalise, present and close offers of employment
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, and use data to inform improvements in our hiring process i.e. time to hire from role kick-off to offer
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
Requirements
- Track record of hiring exceptional diverse talent, ideally with experience in the gaming industry
- An advocate for continuously improving candidates’ experience and inclusive hiring practices
- Ability to maintain an agile hiring process
- Excellent sourcing techniques and experience engaging and activating passive candidates
- Knowledge of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques
- Confident communicator, understands how best to adapt their approach to the relevant audience.
- Team player – Maintains a positive problem solving attitude. Builds strong relationships within and beyond the team and is comfortable with a fast paced working environment
