Talk Therapist

We are hiring a Talk Therapist at MyCareBuddy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provide mental health related counseling for clients
● Make necessary recommendations based on sessions held for both clients and organization on situations that demand such.
● Submit daily report of sessions held.
● Work with line manager and the other management staff in respect of other organizational matters.
● Represent the organization in occasional official functions such as outreaches, conferences, seminars, etc

DUTIES:
● Schedule and hold sessions with clients daily.
● Must reach out to available clients via messages or call once a prompt for a session is received.
● Collate all sessions held and upload on the reporting platform.
● Inform the line manager of any un-held session due to a well specified reason(s).
● Provide support for the team during monthly collation and reconciliation of sessions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING:
1st degree in the following field:
Mental health, Psychology, Counseling Psychology

REQUIRED SKILLS:
● Good communication and writing skills
● Good counseling skill
● Tech/Phone savvy
● Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel and Powerpoint

REQUIRED PERSONALITY TRAITS:
● Must show high emotional intelligence
● An empathetic counselor
● Must be lively and be comfortable listening to different kinds of people

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A young budding graduate who has completed the NYSC programme is preferred for this role.
